The title of this photograph, Ents is inspired by the film Lord of The Rings.
What you see in this photograph is an area of secondary woodland growth, which has colonised an area of neglected pasture and the line of mature trees is an ancient outgrown hedgerow consisting of mature oaks. The trees to me appear as though they exist in a magical world where they are guardians (Ents) of the little trees around them, which have congregated for protection from Orcs, Dwarves and other perils.
