The peak of Maltiden across Torsfjorden from Ramberg at twighlight. Lofoten Islands, Norway.
Whist soaking up the atmosphere of this photograph, imagine being stood on the shores of the fiord with the cold icy arctic air settling on your face and the heady smell of freshly caught cod hung over the drying racks behind you. The image was taken just minutes before nightfall in February and was one of the few days of good light whilst visiting the location. What strikes me the most about this photograph, is the clarity of the light which is nothing short of stunning in the Lofoten Islands. The peak rising up into the sky was afforded a beautiful mirror reflection at the moment the image was made and was worth every minute of the long drive home in the dark.
