Simon Booth Photography

Limited edition prints are produced in set prints and edition sizes and are signed and numbered by the photographer (obverse or reverse). Edition numbers become lower as the print size increases.

  • Panoramic: 80 inch (longest edge) print has an edition size of 10 prints, 50 inch print has an edition size of 20 and the 30 inch print, an edition size of 30 prints.
  • Standard format prints: 50 inch (longest edge) print has an edition size of 10 prints, 30 inch print has an edition size of 20 and 20 inch print, an edition size of 30 prints.

Limited editions are the only prints available that are both signed and numbered by the photographer. This ensures value to the collector.

Open edition prints are not limited by the size or number of prints produced and are not numbered unlike limited edition prints. Open edition prints cost less and offer greater flexibility in terms of the sizes you can order. All prints are produced to the same exacting standards as limited edition prints using archival and FSC certified materials. Open edition prints over 30 inches long or high can be signed (obverse or reverse) if required.

Simon now uses medium format digital equipment to produce all his new work. These cameras and lenses are a huge investment to any photographer, but the gains over 35mm full frame are very apparent when you get the opportunity to admire the quality of the finished product for yourself. Generally used in advertising, these cameras can produce huge prints without any loss of fine detail or allowing tonal shift to be detected in the finished product. The images therefore can be admired at close viewing distances and are ideally suited to commercial and public spaces or even collectors wanting the very largest of artworks.

The Certificate Of Authenticity (COA) accompanies all limited edition prints. The COA guarantees the artwork as being produced directly by the photographer and provides additional information about the artwork such as print size, print media and edition number. It also includes the date of production and date of image capture along with a brief artist statement. The COA is stamped, signed and dated by the photographer.
